Privacy notice

Quest Academy is a learning adventure for children from kindergarten to grade 8. Parents sign in; children never create accounts. Last updated: November 2026.

Draft: not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page may change before Quest Academy launches.

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never show ads or use trackers, and you can see, download or delete your family's data at any time.

Who runs Quest Academy

Quest Academy is run by its founder. You can reach us at daivik.patel@aiirify.com with any question or request about your family's data.

This website

  • This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads, trackers or third-party scripts or fonts. Everything is served from our own site.
  • Waitlist: if you join the Silver or Gold waitlist, we keep only your email address, the plan you picked, that you asked to be emailed, and when you joined. We use it only to email you once, when that plan opens, and we never share or sell it. To be taken off the list, email daivik.patel@aiirify.com and we will delete it.
  • If you email us, we keep the message so we can answer it.

What the app collects

  • About you (the parent): your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. We use these only to sign you in.
  • About each child you add: the first name or nickname you type and their grade, after you agree. If you choose to share them (you can skip this), the name of their school and its town and state, used to match lessons to what the school teaches. Never a birthday, photo or street address.
  • Learning progress: which questions your child answered, whether they were right, how long they took, their skill levels, game rewards and settings.
  • Writing, only if you turn on AI writing feedback for a child: the pieces they write and the feedback.
  • AI conversations, only if you turn them on for a child: what your child said (as text) and the replies, kept for you to read.

Voice features listen on your device. Audio is never sent to an online service and is never stored.

What we never do

  • No advertising, tracking, analytics or third-party scripts.
  • We never sell your family's data, never share it except with friends you approve (below), and never use it for anything except running Quest Academy for you.
  • Children cannot chat or type messages to anyone. With friends you approve, they can only pick from a few preset messages.

Where it is stored

Progress is kept on your device so lessons work offline, and saved to our database (hosted by Supabase) so it follows your child between devices. Only you, signed in, and any other grown-ups you invite to your family can see your children's data; the one exception is what approved friends see. Data is sent over encrypted connections, and every table is locked so a parent can reach only their own family's rows.

Other grown-ups in your family (optional)

You can invite another parent or carer with a one-time code. They sign in with their own account and then see and manage the same children as you. The grown-ups in a family see each other's sign-in email. The grown-up who made the family can remove anyone, and anyone can leave.

Friends (optional, only with both grown-ups' approval)

Children can be friends in the app only after both families agree. An approved friend sees your child's first name or nickname and a picture of their game town, never their grade, school, progress or anything else, and they can send each other presents with preset messages only. You can remove a friend at any time.

AI (optional, off unless you turn it on)

AI features are opt-in for each child and off by default. When on, the writing or text is sent to Claude, an AI service from Anthropic, with email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses removed first. We never send your child's name or any account ID, and we limit how many requests each child can make a day. You can read the AI's responses, and for writing feedback you approve each one before your child sees it. By default, Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.

Payments

Paid plans have not started yet. When they do, payments will be handled by a payment provider, and we will not store your card number. We will update this notice and name the provider before you are asked to pay.

Your choices and rights

  • See it: the Parent area shows everything recorded for each child, and you can download a full copy.
  • Change it: rename a child or turn AI features on or off at any time.
  • Delete it: deleting a child, or your whole account, removes their profile and progress from our database right away. You can also email us and we will delete it for you. Copies on your own devices go when you clear the site's data in your browser.
  • Stop collection: stop at any time by deleting the child or the account. We will not collect more information than the app needs.

How long we keep it

We keep your family's data while your account is open. When you delete a child or your account, it is removed from our database. Waitlist emails are deleted once we have told you the plan is ready, or sooner if you ask.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Quest Academy is meant to be set up by a parent or guardian. We collect information about a child only after their parent or guardian signs in and agrees when adding them, and we ask only for what the app needs. A parent can review, download or delete their child's information, and refuse further collection, at any time. If you believe a child's information was added without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
